Sitting member of Congress writes technical twitterstorm critical of hydrogen technology
Congressman's tweetstorm does a fairly detailed (for Twitter) analysis of hydrogen as an energy carrier. Basic (correct) analysis is that round trip storage efficiencies are better for batteries than for hydrogen, and that hydrogen-as-energy-carrier has several other disadvantages (lack of infrastructure, slow technological progress) that make it likely to remain a niche technology.
